Part of the fun of “Hoodwinking” seems to be blatant!
The following is an excerpt from the “Satanic Bible”…
Horned Hand or The Mano Cornuto:
This gesture is the Satanic salute, a sign of recognition between and allegiance of members of Satanism or other unholy groups. I Love you Devil ?
HORNED HAND or THE MANO CORNUTO: This gesture is the satanic salute, a sign of recognition between and allegiance of members of Satanism or other unholy groups. It is also called the 11 Cornuto.
Mano Cornuto means “horned hand” in Italian; the gesture is commonly depicted on charms against the evil eye. It is unclear whether the gesture originated as an image of horns or as a “poking out the eyes” gesture (against the malocchio or “evil eye”), but ancient lunar goddess charms depicting animal horns were used for similar protective purposes and are probably related to the gesture.
The use of the horns as a symbol of satanic belief is recent and is evolved from its use by heavy metal musicians and fans, ohh and is commonly used by the Elite, (A good discussion of the use of the horned hand gesture in rock can be found here.) The Horned Hand gesture is also used occasionally by Wiccans as a symbol of the “Horned God” or as the horns of the Moon Goddess, depending on tradition.
The Devil’s Horns hand symbol is known under many names including: Sign of the Horns, El Diablo, Sign of Satan the Horned God, the Goat, Goat Horns, Rock On, Rock Fist, The Horns, Mano Cornuto, Il Cornuto, Pommesgabel, Evil Fingers, Metal Horns, Devil Sign, Diabolicus…
The Devil’s Horns is one of the most widely recognized symbols of allegiance to Satan. The two raised fingers represent Satan’s horns. Unfortunately, it is also the most incorrectly identified Illuminati hand sign.
The sign can be made with the thumb tucked in or sticking out as shown by Texe Marrs in his Codex Magica and demonstrated by the Devil himself in the 14th-century Arabic manuscript, the Kitab al-Bulhan.
The sign made with an extended thumb is used in American Sign Language as a sign for “I Love You”. The sign for the letters I, L, and Y combine to form the gesture. According to researcher Texe Marrs, this is no coincidence, as the creator of the hand sign, Helen Keller, was herself a practicing occultist. (Codex Magica p.120)
Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath) claims to have brought the Devil’s Horns to the Rock scene. He adds that he did not himself come up with the sign, but rather, that he learned it as a kid in Italy from his grandmother who used it to repel evil. In 2017, KISS bass guitarist Gene Simmons filed a for a registered trademark of the sign. Due to prior use of the sign by Dio, psychedelic band Coven, and even Paul McCartney in 1966, Simmons is unlikely to receive a trademark.
Anton LaVey of the Church of Satan also used the sign of the Horns.
